If you want to enjoy rather than endure your trip, we can arrange a convenient and reliable door-to-door baggage transfer service at an unbeatable rate. You’ll be able to enjoy this beautiful part of England with a spring in your step rather than the weight of the world on your shoulders!

South Downs Way Baggage Transfer Prices

£30 per transfer for 1 bag.
£35 per transfer for 2 bags.
£40 per transfer for 3-4 bags.
For 5 bags or more contact us for a special rate.

We operate South Downs Way baggage transfers from 01/04/2024 – 30/09/2024 (with the exception of 20/08 – 30/08 inclusive) .

These prices above are based on sectors of less than 20 miles and travelling west to east, i.e. Winchester to Eastbourne. The maximum permitted weight per bag is 20 kgs.

Please note that we are not able to deliver/collect bags from any campsites as well as the following; Truleigh Hill YHA, Tallai House & Duck Lodge in Pyecombe, Jack & Jill in Clayton, Kings Head in Lewes or Ye Olde Smugglers Inne in Alfriston, along with any unmanned properties. We are also unable to facilitate collections or drops offs in Brighton and Rodmell.

How Do South Downs Way Bag Transfers Work?

Once you have decided on your itinerary and where you would like to stay, just tell us your requirements using the form on this website. We will then arrange for your bags to be collected from your accommodation each day after 9am and dropped off before 4pm at your next stop.
